Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase on your sales receipt. Certain equipment may have a limited return period. When purchasing equipment, this limited return period will be noted on your sales receipt, invoice, or service contract.

Any item returned must include the manual, retail box, along with all accessories. Any missing parts, manuals, retail box, or accessories will be deducted from the value of your return should any of these items not be returned to us. Refunds are given in the same form as originally paid after your return has been received and inspected by us. Once an order is sent to our warehouse we are unable to cancel the order. 

Shipping and In Transit Times

We ship all in stock items immediately. Once your item, or order is shipped, we will email, or text the tracking number, along with the name of the carrier.

Our cutoff time is 3 pm pacific standard time Monday - Friday only, excluding holidays. Processing, along with in transit times vary depending on carrier. Our Free Shipping offer may take up to 3-10 business days for your item to arrive depending on carrier.

Carriers: USPS, FedEx Surepost and UPS. 

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Money Order, ACH Transfer. Wire Transfer available to organizations only. Net terms are available to qualifing organizations only. Customers with USA billing addresses will not be charged until the order is processed for shipping. However, a credit card authorization hold occurs at the time the order is placed. Credit card customers with non-USA billing addresses will be charged in full at the time of purchase.

 Payment Verification

Occasionally we may ask you to verify that you're the card owner or that order and ship-to information are legitimate. This verification process is for your protection, rarely delays an order, and generally requires either a simple phone call (which can be done after business hours) or fax communication.

If your order requires verification, we will advise you by phone or email. This is why it's important that you provide multiple contact phone numbers when ordering and that you keep your information current.

It is also important that you understand what we mean by bill-to information on the checkout process. The bill-to address is the address to which your bank mails your monthly credit card statement. The bill-to address you give us must agree with the address that the card-issuing bank has on file. Please be sure you provide the correct information, even if the items are to be shipped to a different location. We regret that they are even occasionally necessary, but these steps are designed to safeguard against credit card fraud and identity theft.

Product Warranties

All products sold by Red Sail Marine  include the manufacturers complete warranty.

Certain products are not sold to consumer customers. These products will be shown our our website with no Add to Cart button.

Red Sail Marine offers service contracts on certain products. These service contracts are available to organizations only as these service contracts include a service for a set period of time by a factory trained technician.

Sales Tax

Local Sales Tax: When an order is shipped within New York State, the law requires that local sales tax be added to the order total, including any shipping charges. Purchases shipped to any California addresses are subject to an 9.00% local sales tax. This tax is not a VAT and cannot be recovered by non-USA visitors when returning home. We do not collect taxes on orders shipped out of California.

Tax Exemptions

Government, education, nonprofit organizations, public charities, churches and other religious organizations usually qualify for tax-exempt purchases. Once approved, customers may make tax-exempt purchases on behalf of their organizations online.

Should any of the item(s) in your shipment arrive damaged, we will replace the item without charge.

Package Insurance

All shipments are insured prior to us providing your package to the carrier. Should loss occur, Red Sail Marine will file a claim with the carrier of your package. We will reship your order immediately prior to the claim process being completed. Packages with the USPS are insured for $50.00 USD. All other carriers packages will be insured for the value of the item(s) shipped.

Delivery Guarantee

All ground services are not covered by any guarantee. Some carriers will guarantee in transit, along with delivery times provided that a premium service has been used.
